Read about the making of the valve mastered 7s on our blog!

Here at Gearbox, we’re huge advocates of analogue techniques and valve signal paths when it comes to producing records. Our new “valve mastered 7s boxset" is a celebration of music in its purest, most unfiltered form. The compilation contains five 7" singles, each recorded in one take and directly to disc, using only three vintage ribbon mics. The selection spans a variety of musical genres, from the jazz fusion of Shez Raja to the nu-jazz of 2nd Exit (Alfa Mist & Lester Salmins.)
