Absurd in the Anthropoceneには、プロデューサーでキーボードマスターのジェフ・バブコ、伝説的なドラマーのヴィニー・カリウタ、ゲイリー・ノヴァク、ザック・ダンジガー、著名なベーシストのジミー・ジョンソン、ティム・ルフェーヴル、ジェリー・ワッツ・ジュニア、ローゼンブームの長年のコラボレーターであるギャビン・テンプルトン、ジャズのアイコンであるデビッド・ビニー（サックス）、ギタリストのティム・コンリー、アレクサンダー・ノイス、ジェイク・ボスラー、エレクトロニクスの魔術師トロイ・ジーグラー、ホーン奏者の同僚であるブライアン・ウォルシュ、ライアン・ドラゴン、ジュリアン・グラール、ハビエル・ゴンザレスといった、とんでもないミュージシャンたちが参加しています。このレコードの最初のセッションは、名エンジニアのスティーブ・ジェネウィックとともにキャピトル・レコードで録音され、2回目と3回目は、尊敬されるプロデューサー、エンジニア、ミキサーであるジャスティン・スタンレーの指揮の下、ステラ・サウンド・スタジオで行われました。
