This album is the soundtrack to the documentary-film "Life is climbing!" and was born from an offer from Sokichi Nakahara, who directed the film.

Michael Grigoni is playing the guitar on the second track "What Lies Ahead?" as well as Tomohiro Ishii, who is active in the jazz scene, plays the violin in the closer track "Ancient Art."

As always, Chihei Hatakeyama did all the other performances and sound-making. This definitely is the latest addition to the list of masterpieces of Japanese ambient works.
